It is a small detail but I would like to see your shoulders going down, it looks like a head sitting on a shelf. Keep doing it, the self portraits. One thing to try is having dramatic light and/or making your face be in an environment.Nadia Richmanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12701120315908726585noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2291554536830507536.post-67023479897095135242013-05-09T15:35:06.181-04:002013-05-09T15:35:06.181-04:00Thanks Deb - :)Thanks Deb - :)Meg Templehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12514074248539941326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2291554536830507536.post-32948178242212951172013-05-09T12:34:45.725-04:002013-05-09T12:34:45.725-04:00Great Contrast, color and reflections...how do mak...Great Contrast, color and reflections...how do make the mundane look so great?Debnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2291554536830507536.post-58322708057426455052013-05-09T09:29:53.357-04:002013-05-09T09:29:53.357-04:00I think I might try to tone down the left backgrou...I think I might try to tone down the left background a bit - its too light and flat.<br />Meg Templehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12514074248539941326noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2291554536830507536.post-32327098587313929302013-05-09T09:11:29.362-04:002013-05-09T09:11:29.362-04:00Thank you Karen! I think you have to be an incredible painter to capture smiling faces well.
