This is the first painting I did at the studio that I didn't toss - it was my third attempt so it was probably early June. I struggled with the differences in shade and tone in the body of the pepper, but it turned out much better than I ever expected.
Things I like:
- the greens and shading on the brussel sprouts
- the texture of the background
- the shadow on, and between, the peppers.
- the shapes
Things I don't like:
- the highlights on the peppers
- the awkward tonal changes on the peppers
