Portrait in Progress - 2

Next phase - I'm struggling with the skin. No, she doesn't actually have a 5 o'clock shadow. Hopefully I'll have time to work on her today.

    This is looking great, Meg. I think the skin looks very "real" with the shadows and lighting. Nice work.

    I go back to those NYC photos all the time as well. It's amazing how many great shots we all acquired during Karin's workshop.

    I disagree I think you're fine with skin tones. The lightning is very beautiful and I love how her face seems to glow. Your sitter looks intelligent and contemplative. A beautiful artwork.
